Located just minutes from the Gulf and the famous Hernando Beach Flats, our property gives guests the opportunity to explore hidden islands, shallow sandbars, waterfront restaurants, fishing spots, and some of the most scenic waterways on Florida’s Nature Coast — all from one convenient location.

Sometimes the biggest adventures begin with a simple dream. For Jeff and Fonda, that dream started more than five years ago during a family vacation in Hernando Beach. While staying at the very motel they would one day own, the family spent the day out on one of the rental pontoons, enjoying the peaceful waters and laid-back charm of Florida’s Adventure Coast. As they pulled away from the docks, Fonda turned to Jeff and said: “If this place ever came up for sale, I’d risk it all to buy it.”

At the time, it simply felt like a passing thought in their happy place. Looking back now, it was the beginning of something much bigger. In 2024, after years with Verizon, Fonda was offered a buyout with a release date set for March 2025. With no clear plan but a lot of faith, prayer, and trust in God’s direction, she took the leap anyway. Just three months later, the very property they had fallen in love with unexpectedly came up for sale.

The timing felt impossible to ignore. With Jeff already searching for the right business opportunity, the couple reached out and quickly connected with the previous owners — people they now describe as incredibly kind and supportive. The sellers believed in Jeff and Fonda’s vision for the property and patiently gave them the time they needed to make the dream a reality. In May of 2026, that dream officially came true.

Today, Jeff and Fonda are proud owners of Hernando Beach Motel & Boat Rental and are passionate about creating a welcoming, laid-back waterfront experience for every guest who visits. Rooted in faith, gratitude, family, and adventure, they believe life is meant to be lived fully — slowing down, making memories, and enjoying the beauty around us.

Their mission is simple:
